Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is a Trustee College for Muhammadiyah Higher Education in the Eastern Indonesia region. UMM has been accredited A (Accredited by BAN-PT No. 3289/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/IX/2017), besides that, UMM was included in the 2 star category (**) QS-Stars. In 2018, UMM also received the 11th Excellent Campus Award (AKU) and the 3rd AKU Kartika in 2017 from Kopertis Region VII of East Java.

The Faculty of Medicine obtained an establishment permit on 25 September 2001 with number:3079/D/T/2001 and got accredited B on 29 June 2012 with number: 017/BAN-PT/Ak-XV/SI/VI/2012.

The Faculty of Medicine has 2 programs, namely the Medical Education (Pre-Clinic) Program and the Clinical Medicine Program.

For 19 years FK UMM has grown and developed following the development of education and health services in Indonesia and in the Southeast Asia regional level. Currently, 40 batches have graduated from 2008 to 2019 (Doctor's oath on 26 October 2019 with a total of 1,269 alumni). Alumni are spread throughout Indonesia in various regions all over Indonesia and work in accordance with their competency as doctors.


Brief Profile of Study Programs

The medical study program (PPD and PSPD) of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang was founded in 2001 based on the Decree of the Establishment: Ministry of National Education, Directorate General of Higher Education 3079/D/T/2001 dated September 25, 2001. Extension of Doctoral Education Study Program Permit 13342/D/T/K-VII/2012. This study program has been accredited by LAPM PTKes with the predicate B, and BAN-PT No. 017/BAN-PT/Ak-XV//VI/2012.
